Dear Pioneers,
I would like to know if anyone is using a, non supported, ADIC-SCALAR tape library attached to an HP box - for omniback (Data Protector) - in compatible mode.
Does it work? Did you have problems?
Example: A i2000 is not supported by HP, but it can be setup as
a Scalar 100, which is supported. I would like to buy the i2000
to support the needs of both omniback and netbackup in one
physical library.
