Problem with umask settings and file permissons.
The unmask setting that is set on our HPUX 11 system is unmask=022 but
logging in through telnet and requesting a
umask gives me 077; HOWEVER, logging in through ssh (exact
same uname/passwd/server/blah blah blah) gives me 022! How can that be?
There is nothing in the users .profile or .login to change the umask
setting. Also when this user saves a file from windows to her mapped
unix public area is sets the file as 600 rather than 644.
