    Hi,
you can mv the /usr/bin/rm executable to e.g. /usr/bin/rm_org and replace it thru an own script (maybe called rm_my). Than you can using e.g "/usr/bin/rm_org -i $1 ..." in the rm_my script for requesting confirmation.
Create a link like ln -s /usr/bin/rm_my /usr/bin/rm and it should work for you.

    Hope it helps,
    Klaus

              Hi,

I would like to know if its possible to enable any option on HPUX to avoid involuntary uses of rm command.

For example, only the execution after responding a confirmation question, or something else ???

    Best regards,
    Enrique
