[HPADM] When does time turn to year on file listing?

Hello Admins,
When does hp-ux change the file information from 'time' to 'year' as
shown in ls -al display? e.g.
lrwxr-xr-x 1 root root 19 Mar 13 13:53 K888kminit -
> /sbin/init.d/kminit
lrwxr-xr-x 1 root root 19 Mar 13 2003 K888kminit -
> /sbin/init.d/kminit
I'm guessing that it is 6 months but confirmation would be good.
