Using HP-UX B.11.00 on a 9000/800 server
fbackup aborts when reaching 2GB
writing on a dump file placed in a 18GB free LV.
fbackup(3014):
WRITE ERROR: could not write to the output file
fbackup(3004):
writer aborting
fbackup(1002):
Backup did not complete : Reader or Writer process exit
On the fbackup man page I can read: With release
10.20, HP-UX supports large files (greater than 2GB).
The LV is now about 16GB free.
So where is the problem? fbackup, hp-ux... or me? :-)
Do I have to install some patches....?
I used fbackup in order to use the i/e graph method.
Will summarize. Thank you,
Stefano
