Thanks to everyone that responded. I did indeed need to extend the FS. I had
thought that SAM would automatically take care of that for you, but
obviously it did not do that. Thanks once again to everyone that responded.

Did you extend the filesystem after you resized the logical volume?

    Hello fellow admins,

I have extended one of my logical volumes through sam from 1G to 2G and for
some reason the system still thinks the partition is a 1G partition. If I do
an lvdisplay of the logical volume, it properly displays as a 2G partition,
but bdf shows it as a 1G partition that is 100% full and not as a 2G
partition that should be around 49% full or so. Anyone have any ideas on how
to get the system to properly see this newly extended logical volume. Thanks
    in advance, will summarize.

It's probably a long shot, but if you can copy enough of the contents of the third logical volume into the first or second logical, then you could delete the third one and shrink the extended volume. ... Then you could create a new primary partition in the vacated space at the end of your HD and move all the contents of the first logical volume into that new partition. ... Just backup the contents of the 3 logical partitions, delete the extended partition, extend the primary partition and then recreate the extended partition and put your files back. ...
