    Hi,

    I need to add a new swap device on the system. When I checked I have only free space left on an Oracle volume with alternate links.

    Is there any problem if I create the swap device on the oracle vg. Do I need to reboot in any case. I have only one swap device on the system now.
    These are the kernel values.
    nswapdev                   10  -  10                        
    nswapfs                    10  -  10                        

    Does the alternate links do any problem.
