Hi Admins,
I have a client on a different subnet / Vlan in my network. Since it is the only machine on this network I have
made ypset on this client to bind to th NIS server. I am rebooting my nis server once a month so when this
happens that client looses connectivity with NIS and it hangs so can not be reached from network. As a work around
making this client NIS slave server fixes this issue but any other suggestions for this situation ?
I will summarize..
Thanks,
