[HPADM] File descriptors.

    I was wondering if any of oyu admins know how to tell how many file
    desciptors are available? This is not a kernel paramter. Our oracle DBA is
    trying to upgrade some database to oracle 9i and is running out of file
    descriptors. I would like to increase the total available if possible, but
    after talking to HP support there is no kernel parameter to do so. Any help
    would be appreciated.
