    Hi admins,
I lost the mirrored disk (not the root disk) and I booted the system with hpux -lq option and it is up and running. This happend after we physically moved the server from one location to the another, some how the mirroed diks become bad. currently there is only one disk and the mirrored disk was physically removed from the system.

When I do a lvdisplay it shows stale PEs.
I wanted to lvreduce & vgreduce. Is it possible, when there is a stale PE and the PV is not present. I am thinking to reduce the lv and vg, after booting on single user mode. (hpux -is). or do I need to use hpux -lm.

Once I reduce the lv and vg, I will install a new disk on the same hardware path & will start the mirroring procedure again.
    Please help.
