    Hi all
     
     Looks like I am missing unicod_map.850 and unicode_map.ISO.8859-1. Anybody
    know where to download ?
     
         The following was logged in smbd.log:

    Problem: Can not double click pdf file in samba drive. Double click word
    file generated error. Have no problem when copy from samba drive to c: drive
     
         I download HP-UX depot samba package (2.2.8a without winbind version
    for HP-UX11.00) from

    install in HP-UX 11.0 J200 machine , from my windows 2000 PC, I can mount
    the samba drive . I can copy files to and from the samba drive without
    problem . But when I double click pdf files in the samba drive, the
    application starts up , but it can not open the pdf file . It gives read
    error. For word files with image, when double click it , the word program
    will give error: "winword.exe generated an error and will be closed". But
    all files copied to c: drive have not problem using double click to open.
    Any idea?
     
         The configuration smb.conf file:
    workgroup = UNIXNAME
    username map = /etc/samba/username.map
    hosts equiv = /etc/samba/hosts.equiv
    browseable = NO
    security = server
    password server = windowadserver
    preserve case = yes
    case sensitive = no
     
    [homes]
     volume = Unix Home
     public = NO
     readonly = NO
     
         I have tried samba version samba-2.0.7-2-hppa1.1-hp-hpux11.00.tar.Z
    and also the same error.
         But I have an older version of samba (1.9.17p4) that works perfectly
    well. I searched the arhive but could not find any document has similar
    problem.
     
        Please advise whether this is due to configuration error or else
