    Admins,

We have a quirk with an Oracle 11i Application web server where we notice (for very short spurts) one CPU on these 2 CPU servers exhibiting high run queue where the other CPU will have a runqueue of close to 0. Neither CPU has high utilization during this, but the question is being raised as to whether or not this is a problem. The application users are complaining about some sporadic performance issues which is where this was discovered.

Has anyone experienced the same sort of problem or could possibly shed some light on what might be happening?

Thanks in advance and will summarize.

    George
