We transfer files daily via a cronjob between our HP-UX and a Window Server. We have recently gone from ftp to mapping a drive with CIFS. I have noticed that when I ftp a file with multiple line the file remain as it should with a line for each entry. But when I map the drive and do a cp the file loses the CR and runs the lines together. Is there a switch I should be using with cp? Or is there something else I am missing?

    Thanks,

    Buddy Mills
