    Well, just about everyone told me to buy bigger disks. Unfortunately, that
    isn't an option at this point.
     
    HP said you could boot the system through ISL (hpux -lm), activate vg00,
    mount /usr, and lvreduce the swap and reboot.
     
    Bill Hassell pointed out that doing so would leave a "hole" between / and
    /usr, a potential performance issue. He also provided some excellent
    suggestions of how to do it correctly. Use Ignite to create an image either
    on a local tape or on a remote Ignite server, then reinstall from this
    image. When you do this, you can change the size of all of the LVM
    partitions, including swap, as long as you don't try to make them smaller
    than the data they already contain.
