Thanks to everyone who replied. The problem appears to be that HP-UX wants the ISO9660 format and Windows will default to the Joliet. Nero was suggested most often as the program that would allow me to reliably burn an ISO9660 cd. A couple of people suggested using Linux, and I think I'll use this as ammunition to get a Linux box setup here. I've been lobbying for a while...;-)

    Subject: [HPADM] Copying cds

    Hi all,

We have tried to make copies of various HP-UX installation cds for disaster recovery purposes but they are not usable for installations. We are using a cdwriter on a Windows box. However, none of these cds are readable/usable by my HP-UX servers. Specifically, we have tried the Data Protector cds and some PeopleSoft install cds for HP-UX, as well as some specific patches downloaded from the itrc. Does anyone know if there is a way to do this? We would like to keep the originals in a Disaster Recovery box offsite, but store the copies in the office so we can access them quickly if needed.

    Thanks~

    Cindy Yoho
