My apologies for replying to the whole list ...

A little HP birdie passsed along to me the following: A good bit of the
really heavy-hitting sessions at HP World were meant for HP partners and
customers ONLY since they included sensitive (competitive) data about HP
products. There were unfortunately growing numbers of Sun, IBM, and EMC
employees who were attending HP World as "HP Customers" who were really
there to commit nothing more than corporate espionage. Since HP was only
a sponsor and Interex ran the show, there wasn't much HP could do to guard
against this ... other than start their own forum. Hence the new HP
Technology Forum 2005 in New Orleans.

Add that to the fact that Interex "membership" was north of $100 per year,
and I think it's safe to say that Interex screwed the pooch and did
    themselves in.

    Nice. Real nice.

Is anyone able to contact Interex? I called and got the voice mail that
    says
the office is 'CLOSED'. This is odd. The Interex web page is still opened
for 2005 HP World registration??? What is going on...?
