Admins,
I discovered a problem when I was trying to make an Ignite tape.
The Ignite tape failed because it said it could not verify the vg00 using vgdisplay.
I tried vgdisplay myself and sure enough vg00 is missing from the output.
I did strings /etc/lvmtab and it is missing from the lvmtab also!
When I do a bdf I can see all the logical volumes and they are all mounted.
The structure below /dev/vg00/ is all there.
The system is up and running.
Any ideas how to get it back???
TIA… will summarize!
