Hi admins

after a long time searching the issue, i have read in the following link that wuftp with release up to 2.6 has a higher security level to avoid hacking base on DoS.

This has been confirmed to me by HP Support Center. I set, restricted ftp instead and it works fine now.

Hi admins

i have enabled anonymous ftp on a server HP-UX 11.23 with SAM.
When i try to upload files, i have the following msg (Permission denied):

FTP server (Revision 1.1 Version wuftpd-2.6.1 Fri Jun 25 02:33:48 GMT 2004) ready.
...
ftp> put /u/ftp/DTWWP/00_Central/export/DW00PA01.prod
MPLNP/00_Central/import/DW00PA01.prod
200 PORT command successful.
553 MPLNP/00_Central/import/DW00PA01.prod: Permission denied on server.
(Upload)
...

I have not configured "restricted ftp" with "-a" option of ftpd in inetd.conf and ftpaccess file.
Anon ftp network service is "enabled"

User ftp is set in /etc/passwd:
ftp:*:206:20:,,,:/u/ftp:/usr/bin/false

Any ideas ?
