[HPADM] Re: Unsupported Error message in Autoraid 12 H Box

Dear Hp Gurus,

One of the 36 Gb Hard disk was failed in Hp Autoraid Disk Array 12H.

When we fix the new disk ,it says disks unsupported.

Shall we include the disks manually thru control panel.

Pls confirm.

You need to configure the 12H to auto include your disk, or else use the
arraycfg to include it manually. If that doesn't work, you need to
check the firmware of the HD to make sure it's a supported drive.

We had L1000 Server connected with HP Autoraid 12 H Box.

Tha Array was configured using RAID 5 Technology.

One of the disks was failed . Now we have replaced it with New 18 Gb
HP Hard Disk.

The output of arraydsp command shows DISK UNSUPPORTED.

Pls guide me what is the problem.

Pls send command how to troubleshoot the Autoraid 12 H Box.
