Thanks to Galen, Jordan, Marek, James, and Corinne for their replies.
HPUX includes pvlinks for multi-pathing solutions, but only on
active/active controllers (EVA 4k/6k/8k, as well as the VCS 4.x firmware
for EVA 3k/5k). See

HPUX 11iV3 will include native multi-pathing solutions, but for now (and
if the controllers are active/passive), pay products such as SecurePath
or Veritas Volume Manager DMP are still the way to go.
Thanks,

Subject: [HPADM] HPUX SecurePath and MPIO
Hello Admins,
I currently connect several HPUX machines to EVA SANs using SecurePath.
Does anyone know if HPUX will start using another MPIO soon, similar to
the free Linux and Windows solutions? Does anyone else any other
multi-pathing software?
Thanks in advance,
Daniel
