I have installed gcc 4.2.2 on HP-UX 11.11 using swinstall. The
installation completed successfully, and log files have no errors.
However, I am unable to find the package in the swlist list, nor I am
able to find the gcc command on the server. The gcc I installed is for
hppa-hpux-11.11 machines, and my processor hardware is pa8700.
Please Help! Any ideas why this could happen? Am I missing anything?
Re: How do I install this missing library? ... you really should be carefully following LSTC's installation... libg2c is part of gcc.... to tell a newcomer to compile.... like the source code to GNU tar, and make sure you understand what's ... (comp.os.linux.misc)
Cannot get TK 8.4.5 to install on RH Linux 8.0 ... Then followed the README installation procedure.... checking for gcc...... checking for struct dirent64...... no type or storage class... (comp.lang.tcl)
