Hi all,
Thank you to everyone that responded. 99.9% of the response says "The
servers must be shutdown first and the EVA must be shutdown last". When
bring them up, the EVA must be first and the servers must follow once the
EVA is fully booted.

[HPADM] Servers and EVA shutdown sequence

Hi Admins,
I have got 12 servers that I inherited recently and they are connected to
EVA5000. There is a change to shutdown the whole servers and the EVA. My
question is that; is there any sequence that I should follow when shutting
down the systems (i.e. do I shutdown the servers first or the EVA first).
Another question should I shutdown the EVA first while my servers are up
that have active file systems that reside on the EVA?
