[HPADM] sdsadmin ?

WE are trying to use disks > 2G on HP-UX 9.05. We found a HOWTO on the web
that referes to running sdsadmin. If I understand teh note coretly, it
implies that we can use this to create an /etc/disktab entry for the dis we
are trying to use. Specifically it says to run:
sdsadmin -m -C <filename> /dev/dsk/xxxxxx
But when I try this, I get an error message about there being no entry in
/etc/disktab for the disk. Now this command is able to corectly indetfy the
disk's physical model etc. The 9.05 machines don't have man pages, and my
10.20 machines don't have a man page for this command.
Can anyone enlighten me on this ancient bit of history?

One of the main causes of the fall of the roman empire was that, lacking
zero, they had no way to indicate successful termination of their C
programs.
