[HPADM] Parallel execution

Hi all,
I have a requirement to execute from within a crontab script
two ftp-transfers in parallel - to save time.
How do I bring that about, and how do I ensure that later lines
in the script only execute after BOTH ftp-transfers have finished?
Cheers
