Below are the responses I got, think "freshclam" will update the
signatures if HP-UX box has link to Internet & clamscan (or
scanclam) to run the scan.
McAfee has only one product for HP-UX with list pricing shown below:

===================== responses ==========================
Richard Aranas:
I use Mcafee antivirus for unix, a reasonably priced commercial software for
hpux. Very lightweight and maintenance-free. I use a script to
automatically update virus signatures from vendor's site daily. I use this
product to scan files passing through my hpux machine that is being accessed
by windows machines. I heard about freeware clamav, but would rather have
paid people support a product (mcafee), than freeware.
David Antoch:
McAffee has an anti-virus for HP-UX...
I know clamAV has filters for email, but I'm not sure if it is
normal host-based antivirus...
Daniel Parkes:
I don't know now, but before we used clamav on HP-UX only in a server where
we had samba shares for users in a development enviroment, we used it yo
keep them clean from viruses people had in their files.
Clamav worked fine for that mission

Is there any anti virus or anti-malware tools for HP-UX?
What about clamav? Does it help with this?
Thanks
