    hi
    I wrote about the requirement for me to place the
    window in vnc for oracle reports server to
    start.Trying to solve it with solaris/oracle or vnc.:)

    i've switched gui to CDE in vnc (starts twm by
    default) and thus cured the problem. Thanks
