scanning for new SCSI devices

Equipment: Solaris 9, E280R, Antares SCSI card (ANTRglm2 driver),
    external AVIStor RAID box.

Question: I configured some additional disks in the RAID box and map
them to a LUN on the host SCSI bus. Can I make Solaris re-scan the bus
for new devices without shutting down? devfsadm -c disk doesn't make
the new LUN appear but it isn't clear to me if that command would
trigger a SCSI bus scan or if it just integrates into /dev and /devices
things that the kernel found on its own.
