I just took delivery of 5 x E4800 servers configured with StorEdge S1
containing the boot disk. The host adapter (from Sun) is X6758A Jasper card.

Sun now tells me that this configuration is not bootable using the
standard Solaris 8 or 9 distribution CD. Apparently the CD does not
have the driver built into it so that when you boot from the CD you
    don't even see the disk.

I would appreciate to hear from anyone else that experienced this problem
and how did you get around it ?

Did you make your own CD ? (this is the ultimate that I'm shooting
for). Would you be willing to share it ?

    Thanks,
    George
