I apologize to the list for posting this off-topic email. I was wondering
if other people are getting targetting spams from Sun resellers? This is
the second one I've gotten, and this email below leads me to believe
there's someone out there actively selling email addresses gleaned from
this mailing list and selling them as "Sun leads".

    Again, my sincere apologies.

    Look dude,

Yes, I buy Sun equipment. But I honor vendors that go through the proper
channels. If I buy from you, I'm saying it's okay to spam me. It's not
okay. I'm subscribed to Sunmanagers for support and help, not so I can be
    spammed.

Having said that, cold calling I don't mind. What's the difference you ask?
Cold calling requires SOME effort. Spamming dosen't. Cold calling is an
accepted form of lead generation, spam is not.

Consider this next time you pay "good money" for spam leads.
