    Hi,

I have a directory shared out of a Solaris 2.8 box to a 2.8 client, this
directory has subdirs, each of these subdirs have minimum 25,000 files in
it. The access to this files seems to be very slow, is there any way to tune
it. I have played with DNLC ncsize parameters and the number for ncsize is
pretty high in my /etc/system file. Inspite of that the access is slow.
vmstat -s shows the cache hits to be 98%. What else needs to be done both on
    server and client side??

Any inputs are appreciated. Thanks in advance.

    Mahesh
