    Good day,

    the issue here is in fact that you need a solaris 8 2/02 or newer cdrom to
    get that puppy going (or an older one properly patched...)
    in anycase, if one is not readily available, I recommend downloading and
    burning an openbsd/sparc64 or linux/sparc cdrom, mounting
    your partitions from there, and then fixing whatever your "known" problem
    is.
