This is probably a easy question for you guys. I am trying to access
my ultra5 box without a monitor but can seem to get it to work with
hyperterminal. I am sure this is possible because I remember doing
this a long time ago just not sure how the cabeling worked, but if
anyone knows what the specific connections are can you please advice
me on how to connect my cables? Right now I am connecting a DB25 to a
RJ45 cyclades connector to the serial port A on the ultra5 and this
connects to my laptop through com1. I have the following settings on
my Hyperterminal:
> Bits per second: 9600
> Data Bits: 8
> Parity: None
> Stop Bits: 1
> Flow Control: Hardware.
I kept everything to its default except the Bits per second and
changed it from a 2400 to a 9600. Is there something I am doing
wrong? Any suggestions or comments are very appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Dp.
