We're running an archaic copy of Solaris 8 (sorry, don't have the exact
release at my desk), and we are considering upgrading to Solaris 9. One
question management asked today was whether Solaris 9 (properly run
through the UNIX STIG) was okayed by DISA for the SIPRNET. The only
reference I could find on the Internet was this powerpoint slide:
http://diicoe.disa.mil/coe/aog_twg/aog/apr02aog.ppt
To view through google as HTML:
Basically, it doesn't mention whether it will actually be running on
SIPRNET. Has anyone done this successfully?
Thanks,
alex
