I need to know how to set the MAC and HOSTID on a Sunblade 100 (OBP 4.0,
of course).
The IDPROM on one of our SB100's went bad, so I ordered a new one from
Sun. As usual, this didn't come with any instructions for
installation/configuration.
The usual method for resetting the HOSTID on a Sun box doesn't work in
OBP 4.0, since there's no "mkp" command available. I've searched
extensively, but can't find an answer.
Surely someone has done this before. Any help would be appreciated. I
need to get this box back up and running. TIA.
