Dear managers,
thanks to all that responded. Jim Musso and Bobby Williams suggested to
put a boot block on the second disk. I executed
installboot /usr/platform/`uname -i`/lib/fs/ufs/bootblk
/dev/rdsk/c1t1d0s0
and hoped this would be it. However, I get
ok nvalias bootdisk
/pci@8,600000/SUNW,qlc@4/fp@0,0/ssd@w21000004cfef623f,0:a
ok nvalias mirrdisk
/pci@8,600000/SUNW,qlc@4/fp@0,0/ssd@w21000004cffd1290,0:a
ok setenv boot-device bootdisk mirrdisk
ok boot mirrdisk
Rebooting with command: boot mirrdisk
Boot device: /pci@8,600000/SUNW,qlc@4/fp@0,0/ssd@w21000004cffd1290,0:a
File and args:
Evaluating: boot mirrdisk
Can't locate boot device
I then tried to use the predefined alias disk1 and got
{0} ok boot disk1
Boot device: /pci@8,600000/SUNW,qlc@4/fp@0,0/disk@1,0 File and args:
SunOS Release 5.8 Version Generic_108528-13 64-bit
Copyright 1983-2001 Sun Microsystems, Inc. All rights reserved.
Nothing more! The system seems to hang!
Any more ideas?
Regards,
Andreas
