    Hi,
We are in the process of consolidating 6 Servers (E4000s and E3500) to a new
E6800 with 14 CPUs of 1.2Ghz each. Has anyone worked out or using any product to
manage the resources effectively. Our main databases are Oracle and SAS and most
of applications are client-server based. Our Management is asking me to find out
ways of using the excess capacity of the new server, utilise the use of
queues/scheduling etc so that the system can be loaded and clients get more
    productivity.

I would like to hear from anyone who has followed this approach and have derived
    benefits.

    Appreciate your help.

    Regards

    Raja Nagaraja
