/var problem

    Hi All ,
       
             I have a strange problem , I hav 2 sun sparc
    V100 installed with solaris 8 . I had the same
    filesystem set in that , the /var has been allocated
    48 MB in both the machines . Now suddenly I find that
    one of the machine has 87 % capacity and the other has
    12 % capacity . Again on comparing all the files in
    the /var partition in both the machines , I find that
    the machine with 12 % capacity has more files and
    files with larger size and the 87 % /var machine has
    less files and files of small size .

       I need to find out a solution for this , will
    moving all the contents to another partition ,
    formating the partition and recopying help .

    Kindly suggest . Am ready to collect all infor
    regarding this .
