Hey all,
We've recently begun seeing a problem with automounts that is causing
some concern. The network guys swear it's not them and the people that
control the homedir machines say it isn't them. The problem is
automount only works to some machines. It was working just fine to all
machines then stopped. I was able to stop autofs and rpc then restart
them and all would be happy. That hasn't worked this time. I'm about
at my wits end.
Has anyone solved anything similar? I'm planning to run a snoop and
the network guys have offered to put a probe on the line but that won't
happen until tomorrow.
