    Hi Guys,

    Thanks to everyone for their reply. Special thanks to Lars Hecking, Gary
    Carr, Alan Halachmi, Paul Greidanus and Bill Williams for their reply.
    Windows has a similar option as the unix /etc/resolv.conf (search
    chamkila.org) under the DNS option of the tcp/ip settings for the nic.. I
    set the "Append these DNS suffixxes (in order):" option to my domain name
    and everything is working as expected.. Again, thanks to everyone for their
    quick response.
