Solaris 8 MU : patches ?

I'm about to install Solaris 8 02/02 (MU7), and wonder if I should apply
other patches.
As a general rule for Solaris 8+ installation, would you recommend to stay
with last MU (until next MU), or to immediately apply latest up-to-date
8_recommended patch cluster available on SunSolve (in other words, are there
any issues with fresh recommended patch clusters not integrated into a new
MU) ?
