netstat question

    Hi!
    I am having problems with the netstat results like I show you in the next lines. The value for input packets is
    negative. Is there some patch to correct this problem ?
    I am using Solaris 8 in an E3500 server.

    apollo # uname -a
    SunOS apollo 5.8 Generic_108528-13 sun4u sparc SUNW,Ultra-Enterprise
    apollo # netstat -i 2
        input hme0 output input (Total) output
    packets errs packets errs colls packets errs packets errs colls
