Im getting ready to do a fresh install of solaris 9 to a bunch of E250
sparq boxes.
Is there a list of packages that would be most commonly installed on a
networkable machine ? for example ...gcc ..tcsh .. aid ..gunzip... ??

If you do this then its relatively easy to do a fresh install if necessary, replace any standard directories with the corresponding symlinks, put your custom config files back and you're back in business. ...
