Hello,
On a blade 1000 what kind of internal drive is that. I want to say Fiber channel...
I have the default hd and want to keep that, I just want to add another internal disk.
I thought it was IDE, I took the cover off and it looks like you need a special sled or drive. Please help.
I have never had to add a 2nd hd to a blade 1000. Also and good places (cheap ) to buy one if it is FC.

Re: e1000 with serdes only shows a fiber port ... I'm having problems with the e1000 card in a Dell Poweredge 1855. ... model has support for both copper and fiber and has two cards on the PCI ... If it's a blade server blade then it's really not fiber or copper ... (Linux-Kernel)
