DHCP and DNS updates

    Has anyone been able to use the dynamic DNS update function of SUNs DHCP?

    I was able to get it to update the DNS map but when the lease expires it won't
    remove the entry.
    Sun support tells me that dynamic updates work as advertised and that it was
    never intended to
    remove the entry after the lease expires. This clearly is counter productive
    when you have the DHCP
    client specify its own hostname.
