    Solaris 2.6
    Production Veritas VM3.2 and FS3.4
    COB Veritas VM2.04 and FS3.3.3 (+ patches)
    4500
    Oracle 8.17
    RMAN

We were asked to copy 27 2GB files from our Production machine
to COB for building a new database. RMAN cannot open the backup
set. The 27 files match in checksum.

Oracle seems to believe that the difference in Volumen Manager
between Production and COB is preventing RMAN from reading the
files. Has anyone heard about a case like this?
