We have recently applied the most recent patch cluster to our Solaris 8
environment. A problem has now occured when you try to login using ssh.
Previously, you could login with a locked account (*LK). Now, you must
assign a password to the user accounts before you can login.

    /var/adm/messages

    Oct 29 15:36:54 192.168.1.1 sshd[26824]: [ID 800047 auth.info] PAM rejected by
    account configuration[7]: Permission denied
    Oct 29 15:36:54 192.168.1.1 sshd[26824]: [ID 800047 auth.crit] fatal:
    monitor_read: unsupported request: 24

None of the configuration files for ssh have changed, but lots of file
    related to pam.conf have.

Has anyone else had this problem?

    Thanks
