Hello all... I am new to the list... and new to Solaris too.
I have a question about haw to update packages.
Suppose this... I run a server with Solaris 8 without X, there is
installed the package SMCossl (openssl 0.9.7b). Now, there is available
an update (openssl 0.9.7c). Which is the right way to update the
package? Should I "pkgrm" the old first and then install the new one? is
there something like "rpm -Uvh" in Linux?
I know this question is so simple, but I did not find info about this.
Thanks a lot... Bye!
