    Hi All

    I have a StorEdge 3310 attached to a 420R. I am running solaris 8. I can see the
    attached disks using format

All the disks on the StorEdge 3310 are 72 G. I am doing a fresh install so no
    chance of loosing data

Now after the format and newfs one disk /dev/dsk/c3t10d0s2 now I am trying to
mount a slice of that disk

mount -F ufs /dev/dsk/c3t10d0s6 /a and I get the following error

mount: /dev/dsk/c3t10d0s6 is not this fstype

even though I formatted that slice as 68G

I also tried to mount without any option and got the same error

Any help/suggestions on this would be greatly appreciated

    Thanks
