    Hello managers,

I'm having a strange behaviour with the syslog daemon in a server running
Solaris 2.6. The process (syslogd) is not registering events in spite of
    it is running.

I have tried so far to restart the daemon with /etc/init.d/syslog stop,
/etc/init.d/syslog start but inside the /var/adm/messages there is not new
    lines on it.

    Does somebody have a suggestion?

    Thanks in advance.

    Alan Bird
