    Hi,

All I am looking for is a go ahead for people with experience such as
yourselves. I have partitioned my sun server as follows

Part Tag Flag Cylinders Size Blocks
      0 root wm 0 - 3629 5.00GB (3630/0/0) 10487070
      1 swap wu 3630 - 5807 3.00GB (2178/0/0) 6292242
      2 backup wm 0 - 24619 33.92GB (24620/0/0) 71127180
      3 unassigned wm 20525 - 20532 11.29MB (8/0/0) 23112
      4 unassigned wm 20533 - 24619 5.63GB (4087/0/0) 11807343
      5 unassigned wm 5808 - 10872 6.98GB (5065/0/0) 14632785
      6 usr wm 10873 - 20524 13.30GB (9652/0/0) 27884628
      7 unassigned wm 0 0 (0/0/0) 0

Any problem with the way I have mixed up the start cylinders among different
slices? I am mirroring two disks with this setup.

Secondly is the below configuration fine for a raid 5?
21.16 mb for metadbs the rest for raid.

Part Tag Flag Cylinders Size Blocks
      0 unassigned wm 0 - 14 21.16MB (15/0/0) 43335
      1 unassigned wm 15 - 24619 33.90GB (24605/0/0) 71083845
      2 backup wu 0 - 24619 33.92GB (24620/0/0) 71127180
      3 unassigned wm 0 0 (0/0/0) 0
      4 unassigned wm 0 0 (0/0/0) 0
      5 unassigned wm 0 0 (0/0/0) 0
      6 usr wm 0 0 (0/0/0) 0
      7 unassigned wm 0 0 (0/0/0) 0

    Many thanks for the support
